When is the last time you have tried a Muscadet? Every once in awhile I am in the need for a bone dry mineral driven white that is not only a perfect match with shellfish but great by itself. This Muscadet fits the bill. Extremely dry yet balanced with good flavors and incredible minerality. Crushed rocks, crushed seashells, mild lemon notes and a clean dry finish. The wine leaves your palate clean and crisp and wanting more of the same. This white is a dream with clams and oysters. Also great with popcorn or tuna fish. Do you want a wine with your tuna fish sand which at lunch? this wine is the ticket. And can you believe the price? Only ten bucks! Ridunculous!
